Parfait is a Mac app, and it's built to stay that way: everything you put into it lives on your own Mac. This page explains, plainly, what that means.
Nothing. Parfait does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data, tasks, notes, or usage activity. There is no account to create and no sign-in of any kind.
Your tasks, notes, and settings are stored locally on your Mac, in a sandboxed app database. They are never sent to Parfait's developer, to Apple, or to any third-party server — because Parfait doesn't talk to any server at all. There is no sync service and no cloud backend.
Parfait does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services, and it does not track your activity in or outside the app.
Parfait does not share data with third parties, for the simple reason that it doesn't collect any to share. The only third party in the picture is Apple itself, through the standard Mac App Store purchase and update mechanism, which is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
Parfait does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If Parfait's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an optional sync feature — this page will be updated first, and the "last updated" date above will reflect it.
